Trauma therapy
Online access across Canada
Healing relational wounds, rebuilding trust, and coming home to yourself.
You don’t have to carry it alone anymore.
Trauma can shape how we see ourselves, others, and the world. Whether it stems from childhood, a romantic relationship, intergenerational patterns, or ongoing stress in systems not built for your well-being, your story matters.
As a trauma therapist, I specialize in working with adults navigating:
Relational trauma and attachment wounds
Relationship anxiety, challenges in relationships, and emotional triggers
Complex PTSD and childhood trauma
Racial, cultural, and identity-based trauma
The aftereffects of neglect, shame, and chronic stress
My practice is online, based in Toronto, and serves all of Ontario, as well as several provinces across Canada. Many of my clients are BIPOC, queer, first-generation immigrants, or adult children of immigrants seeking a safer space to heal.
What Is Trauma Therapy?
Trauma therapy is more than just talking about what happened — it’s about healing the nervous system, exploring your inner world, and understanding the protective patterns you've developed to survive.
Rather than pathologizing you, trauma therapy helps you make sense of how your past shaped your present — and how you can gently shift the patterns that no longer serve you.
In our work together, we might draw from:
Attachment-based and psychodynamic approaches to uncover insights and patterns from early relationships, and to understand how past experiences impact how you show up today
Somatic approaches to reconnect with the body and release tension stored in the nervous system
EMDR therapy to reprocess overwhelming or stuck memories
Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work to meet protective or wounded parts of you with compassion
Mindfulness and other grounding tools to help regulate intense emotions and stay grounded in the present
Whether we’re working with sensations, memories, or meaning-making, the goal is always the same: to help you feel safer in your body, clearer in your mind, and more connected to yourself and others.
Signs You Might Benefit from Trauma Therapy
You don’t need a diagnosis to begin healing. If you are experiencing symptoms below, you can benefit from trauma therapy:
Feeling anxious or on edge in relationships
People-pleasing, fawning, or difficulty setting boundaries
Emotional flashbacks or shutting down when triggered
Struggles with self-worth or chronic inner criticism
Feeling disconnected from your body, needs, or emotions
Trouble trusting others or being vulnerable
An affirming space for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and first-generation immigrants
If you’ve ever felt like you had to code-switch, minimize your pain, or make your identity smaller in therapy—I see you.
As a queer, first-generation immigrant and person of colour, I bring a lens that honours lived experience, intersectionality, and cultural safety. My goal is to co-create a space where your full self is welcome.
